SDHA shared experiences with participants at the Nile Day 2019

 

The Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Action (SDHA) shared experiences with participants of Nile Day held in Kigali, Rwanda on 22nd February 2019.  SDHA which is a member of Nile Basin Discourse Forum Rwanda participated in exhibition which attracted many visitors at the stand who wanted to know much about the organization.

The Nile Day event was a best occasion for SDHA to interact with visitors of its exhibition stand and showcase its area of intervention as in the water resources management, food security, promoting economic integration, etc.  

SDHA representative also took that opportunity to share with visitors the best achievements, areas intervention, vision and mission.

The SDHA participation at the Nile Day comes shortly after it has completed the water supply project in MUHANGA District.  The project benefitted approximately 2300 residents of Buriza Village, Mbare Cell, and Shyogwe Sector in Muhanga District.

To achieve its mission, SDHA also engaged in partnership with other organizations such as JICA Alumni Rwanda (JAAR), Nile Basin Discourse Forum (NBDF), COFORWA, CCOAIB, RECOR, UGAMA, RCCDN, and WASHNET.

Nile Day in the annual event which attracts participants drawn from government institutions, civil society, researchers, private sector, etc; from across ten Nile Basin riparian countries.
