SDHA was honored to receive invitation to the 250Startups graduation ceremonies held at Kigali Convention Center on 4th February 2020. In the ceremonies SDHA was represented by Ms. Phoebe Hanifer Nahimana who is SDHA member.
250Startups is a tech incubation and acceleration program initiated by ICT chamber in collaboration with JICA.
The program reached 30 companies in three cohorts so far while the 4th cohort is expected to graduate in June 2020.
In his statement, the 250STARTUPS general Manager, Charles Shyaka said that they program is optimistic of the skills transferred to graduates within the 6 months.
The graduates were trained in Technology, laws and Finance.
According to Charles Shyaka, 250Startups received 40 projects. 12 out of 30 have started generating income while 70% of trained in Law and finance have been recruited by different companies in Rwanda.
