To strengthen livelihoods, women and youth empowerment, SDHA support local economic development (LED) initiatives aiming at Job creation and income generation. In this vein, SDHA support 17 cooperatives involved in Agriculture and Garments value chain in Muhanga, Kamonyi, Ruhango and Rutsiro districts. The objective of SDHA is to diversify livelihoods in creating off-farms jobs in producing goods and services especially supporting Made in Rwanda (MiR) products. This endogenous approach helps in not only financial resilience of local communities but also contributes to district and national economic growth.
