Mission: ‘‘SDHA will contribute to sustainable development and human relief by means of environment and natural resource management, climate resilience and humanitarian initiatives’  

Strategic Objectives of SDHA

To achieve its mission , SDHA fixed its objectives as follow:

  1. To promote environmental protection and water resource management;
  2. To empower communities to cope with disasters and climate change effects;
  3. To promote humanitarian action for people in need to improve their quality of life and dignity
  4. To promote socio-economic livelihoods for communities;
  5. To support education and effective participation of citizens especially for youth and women.

Priority intervention areas

SDHA concentrates its interventions on the sensitive areas as follow:

  1. Water and natural resources management;
  2. Food security f and nutrition or rural households;
  3. Humanitarian action focusing on Health, refugees and disasters affected people
  4. Promote local economic development /livelihoods
  5. Education and promotion of youth and women initiatives

To ensure the success SDHA has given itself the driving  working principles  of Village  based Initiative treated into adapted long-lasting solutions
