About SDHA
Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Action (SDHA) is a Rwandan non-governmental organization (NGO), founded in 2014 and nationally recognized in 2017. With over eight years of field experience, SDHA was established by dedicated professionals committed to volunteering in favor of vulnerable communities in Rwanda.

Core Objectives & Focus Areas (Compressed)
SDHA implements integrated programs that focus on:
- WASH and Health Access
- Emergency Response, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Refugee Support
- Livelihoods, Agriculture, and Climate Resilience
- Youth and Women Empowerment through Education and Behavior Change
- Community Protection, Social Cohesion, and Institutional Development
These programs are delivered through close partnerships with MINEMA, local authorities, CSOs, development agencies, and academic institutions in Rwanda and internationally.
Volunteer Recruitment
To enhance its humanitarian and community-based initiatives, SDHA is recruiting 70 skilled and committed volunteers (local and international) to support activities in the above areas.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a university degree in a relevant field (Social/Natural Sciences, Public Health, Agriculture, Environment, Business, etc.)
- Final-year students or graduates awaiting degrees may apply for internship/placement opportunities
- Demonstrate commitment to community service and humanitarian values
- Sign and adhere to the SDHA Code of Conduct and Volunteer Charter
