Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) issued a certificate of registration to Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Action organization (SDHA). The organization was registered according to the Law n°04/2012 of 17/02/2012 governing the organization and functioning of national non-governmental organizations.
SDHA was established in 2014 with the vision of: “A world in which people have sustainable livelihoods and coping power to disasters and vulnerabilities for well-being and dignity’; and with the following Mission : ‘‘SDHA will contribute to sustainable development and human relief by means of environment and natural resource management, climate resilience and humanitarian initiatives”.
SDHA started with four programmatic plans that will be implemented by 2022 across the country. Those include: Water supply and sanitation projects, Climate resilience; smart agriculture, agro-forestry and energy projects in Western Province, Food security and nutrition for pro-poor households Program, and Integrated Humanitarian program for Health, refugees and disasters affected people in Western and Eastern Provinces of Rwanda.
